Welcome to day 13 of our 30 days of prayer campaign. My name is Pastor Edward Taylor and I pastor Word of Faith Catholic Christian Center in Yazoo city, Mississippi. Our assignment today is to pray for our religious freedom. But before we pray, I want to read a Scripture that we are going to stand on today. It’s found in the book of Galatians chapter 5, verse one, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
The New International version says, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” The New Living translation says, “So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.” Christ has made us free. It is our job to stay free. How do we stay free? We use the weapons of our warfare and one of the weapons that God has given us is prayer.
So today we are going to pray and declare that Christ has made us free and we want to stay free. Let stand against those who have tried to take away our religious freedom. If you read it, let’s pray.
