Bishop Bethel Choto
SENIOR PASTOR | WORD OF FAITH MIRACLE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES | PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA
Greetings everyone. My name is Bishop Bethel Choto and I am from Pretoria, South Africa. Today is day number 17 and we are praying for divine protection. Let me take you through two Scriptures.
The first one is first John chapter 5, verse 18 and it reads, “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” And also Psalm 91, stanza 2, “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” Verse 15, “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.”
I encourage everyone today to pray for divine protection without any fear whatsoever, knowing He has promised to keep and protect the righteous – knowing that our God, Lord Jesus, and His kingdom is above all principalities and powers and dominion and every impact is in Him. He is the highest authority and there is no spiritual authority or power above Him. God will keep and protect you and the wicked one will not touch you. This knowledge keeps our faith strong. That way we pray for protection and no other power will be able to stand against Jesus Christ – no other power will be able to stand against you.
Jesus prayed not that we should be out of the world but that we should be kept from evil because we are not of this world, even as He is not of this world. We want to pray for those who find themselves in danger that they run to this shelter where they will find powerful protection – where the evil cannot do them harm because Jesus is the greatest Shepherd that is going to keep His people. Let people find refuge in His protection from the spiritual and physical threatening that come from the evil one.
We stand with purpose as we speak His way with power, knowing that our Sender protects. He will protect your church from the craftiness from evil legislators and governments and evil religious institutions that are antichrist. We want to pray together that they will not prosper over the church of Jesus Christ. We pray for protection from human fears, anxieties, worries, weaknesses, knowing that we have been given the Highest Spirit, the Spirit of Grace, who is our enablement and power.
Finally, let’s thank God for protecting our families, protecting us when we go out and when we come in, protecting our churches, protecting our communities and our nations and that no sword formed against, as His people and the church, will prosper. Let us be strong and be bold in His mighty power, knowing that God will hear and respond. We thank the Father. Let thanks be to God. He always gives us victory, in Jesus’ Christ. We pray in Jesus Christ. Amen. Let us pray.
