Praise the Lord. My name is Jean Kinuthia, Senior Pastor at Faith4Life church, Nairobi, Kenya Welcome to day four of 30 days of prayer. Today we will pray that the Word of God spreads throughout the world.
Most of us have experienced the power of God in our lives. We have seen deliverance. The Word of God has increased us. The Word of God has given us victory over and over again. But God does not just want that for us, but He wants it for people throughout the world. Second Thessalonians chapter 3, verse 1 reads, “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you.”
For the Word of the Lord to spread throughout the whole world someone has to take it there. So pray for ministries like Keith Butler Ministries to have even further reach. Pray that God will separate men and women to go to these places. Acts chapter 19, verse 10 says, “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.”
So as the Word is preached and it spreads throughout the whole world, we also want to pray that it will grow mightily. You are praying for the Word of God to increase. You are praying for the Word of God to become greater. You are praying for this because it is God who gives the increase. The verse also says that the Word of God prevailed. That word means that it had superiority. It gained the advantage. So pray that the Word of God prevails, that there is demonstration of the Word of God prevailing having power - that people are delivered from the powers of darkness so they too can walk in victory, as the Word of God grows mightily throughout the world. We also know from Acts that a great multitude of disciples were added. So let’s pray today that the Word of God will spread throughout the world.
